Manitowoc - Leatrice C. Liermann, age 81, of 8219 Middle Road, Manitowoc, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday evening, December 16, 2017 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay with her loving family at her side.

The former Leatrice Franz was born on May 25, 1936, in the town of Two Rivers, daughter of the late Emil and Louise (Kiel) Franz. She was baptized and confirmed at Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church. Leatrice was a graduate of Mishicot High School with the class of 1954. On May 26, 1956 Leatrice was married to Lloyd Liermann at Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church, the Rev. Edward Zell officiated. Over the years Leatrice worked at Muench's Supper Club, Hardow Plumbing, the Manitowoc Health Care Center and Holy Family Convent. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, embroidery, playing cards and especially spending time with her family. Leatrice was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Bethany's Ladies Aid and the Manitowoc Senior Center where she volunteered in the gift shop for many years.

Survivors include her husband: Lloyd Liermann, Manitowoc; the couple was blessed with three sons and three daughters: Paul Liermann, Manitowoc; Wayne (LeeAnn) Liermann, Saginaw, MI; Julie (Joe) Holschbach, Manitowoc; Dawn Reichwaldt, Manitowoc; Lance (Janelle) Liermann, Osman; Tanya (Trevor) Hasenjager, Sturgeon Bay; 18 grandchildren: Dustin (Nettie) Liermann; Zachary (Brittany) Liermann; Makayla Liermann; Makiah Liermann; Maxwell Liermann; Mitchell Liermann; Jason (Steph) Holschbach; Jacqui (Nathan) Egholm; Ashley (Matt) Lacenski; Alicia (Steve) Birkholz; Amanda (Tyler) Rodewald; Carlea Liermann; Christopher Liermann and his fiancé: Whitney Barnes; Jordan Liermann and his special friend; Ashley Rietbrock; Noah Liermann; Annika Liermann; Caitlyn Hasenjager; Nathanial Hasenjager; six great-grandchildren: Grace and Anna Egholm; Cortlynn Liermann; Andrew, Isaac and Julia Lacenski; two step-great-grandchildren: Faith and Laura Birkholz; two sisters-in-law: LolaMae Franz, Green Bay; Myvanwy Franz, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Emil and Louise Franz; one granddaughter: Abigail Hasenjager; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Donald (Dorothy) Franz; Richard Franz; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Charlotte (George) Fenske; Dorothy (Herbert) Spalding.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Rev.'s Robert Kujawski and Stephen Melso will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been established in Leatrice's name for Bethany Ev.
