Elsie Margaret Christiansen, 88, 697 Colorado St., died December 23 of natural causes at a local nursing home. Born June 26, 1884, Riverton, to Neils John and Elna Stark Christiansen.

Retired teacher and house mother of Ogden School for the Deaf and Blind. Member Salt Lake Valley Ward for the Deaf; LDS Church.

Survivors: brothers, sisters, A.T., Rainier, Wash.; C.C., Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Olive Peterson, Mrs. Amber Kennard, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral Wednesday, 11 a.m., Salt Lake Valley LDS Ward for the Deaf, 460 8th East. Friends call 260 E. South Temple, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at chapel an hour before services. Burial Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
