Jane Foster, 84, of Roanoke, VA joined her loved ones in heaven on December 17. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late James Harshaw and Jean King Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Foster Jr.
Jane was a registered nurse and graduated from Presbyterian University of PA. She was a member of Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. Jane was a beloved mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Kimberley Roe of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Kenneth Clark of Galax; grandchildren Zachary and Ava Marrano, and Stuart and John Clark.
Jane’s love was Masters Swimming where she held a state record in backstroke. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Heifer International. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
