Michael Duane Randolph age 65 of Columbus, OH passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning January 5, 2016 while at Mount Carmel East Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio with his daughter Meghan Randolph at his side. Mike was the oldest child of the late Duane and Betty (Sipe) Randolph of Mount Gilead, Ohio. He was married to Lynn (Hartley) Randolph on June 18, 1977. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2014.

Mike graduated from Mount Gilead High School in Mount Gilead, Oh in 1968. He continued his studies at The Ohio State University where he completed a BS in Industrial Arts Education in 1972. He went on to work at Capitol University as an Admissions Officer where he met his wife, Lynn. Their daughter Meghan Leigh Randolph was born on May 16, 1983. Mike enjoyed spending time with his daughter and watching her run track and cross country. He even became a college track official. The majority of his career was with the Special Olympics as the Special Projects Coordinator. He and his wife Lynn moved to Rockwell, Texas where Lynn was the Vice President of In-Patient Surgical Services and Oncology at Baylor Health Care Systems in Dallas, TX in 2008. Mike recently returned to the Columbus, OH area to be closer to his daughter.

Mike is survived by his daughter Meghan Randolph of Grandview Heights, OH, three sisters, Marilee (Carl) George of Mount Gilead, OH, Sheree Klingel of Mount Gilead, OH, Janet (Daren) Brown of Worthington, OH. one sister-in-law Leigh Ann (Randolph) Hartley-Fiery of Chesapeake, VA, his mother-in-law Ethal Hartley of Point Pleasant, WV, one aunt, Shirley Sipe of Mount Gilead, OH, two nieces Mandy (Jeff) Rocks of Mount Gilead, OH, Trinity (Steve) Martin of Burlington, NC, five nephews Cecil (Jessica) George of Mount Gilead, OH, Nathan (Nichole) Klingel of Worthington, OH, Jared Klingel of Columbus, OH, Seth Brown of Worthington, OH, and Garrison Brown of Worthington, OH, five great nieces and two great nephews.

Family and friends may meet Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home at 9:00 am and then proceed to the graveside service held at 10:00 am at the Creston Cemetery in Leon, WV.
