She is survived by her devoted husband, John W. Kramer, Jr., her Mother, Vivian L. Borne and Mother-in-law Elma Kramer Simoneaux; three step-daughters: Kimberly Nelson, Deborah Valin, Amy Miller and their families.
She is also survived by her sister, Sheila Bourgeois and husband Bruce and her nieces, Angela Vincent and husband Chris, Ashley Simon and husband Keith and their daughters, as well as close friend Cheryl Deville and many other special friends of the “Beginning Experience” group.
She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice O. Borne, 1st husband James Melancon (her 1st love for whom she retained a special love for his family).
Joy was a very loving and giving soul who tried to help everyone. Joy made many friends over the years throughout Southeast Louisiana working for First American Bank.
