Dorothy M. Addie, age 88, of Janesville passed away, Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at Edgerton Hospital and Health Services. She was born on July 26, 1929 in Dousman, WI, daughter of John and Dora (Simonis) Dudzek. She married Kenneth Addie on May 28, 1949 in Whitewater, WI and he preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2003. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dorothy is survived by her 6 children: Stanley (Debra) Addie of Janesville, Kathleen Szyjewski of Janesville, Jill (John) Schmaling of Delavan, Lea (Mickey) Fritzinger of Janesville, Bryan (Stacy) Addie of Benton, and Randy (Caron) Addie of Sussex; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; sister, Florence; brothers: Ronald, Alvin, Edward, Ralph and Clarence. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at ST JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Paul Ugo Arinze Officiating. Interment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
