Mrs. Judith A. "Judy" Hanson, 77, Galesburg, died at 7:38 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at her home.

She was born July 22, 1940, in Dahinda, to Kermit and Shirley Collopy Wells.

Surviving is her son, Matt Hanson of Galesburg; a sister, Mary (and Ben) Sieg of Galesburg; and two granddaughters, Sarah Hanson and Emily Hanson of Dahinda. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy worked for Outboard Marine Corp., Gale Products Division in Galesburg for several years. She then was a construction field office manager working in West Virginia, Texas, North Carolina, Alaska and Illinois. She graduated from Williamsfield High School in 1958. She was a member of the Dahinda United Methodist Church. Judy loved her flower garden and knitting. She also enjoyed reading, especially archaeology books.

Cremation will be accorded. There are no services scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
