Anders Andersson b. 15 Apr 1853. Married to Margareta Jonsdotter Hjelte b. 14 Jan 1850 Bjuråker. Changed their name to Andrew & Margareta Swing. Children all born in Bjuråker: Kristina Katrina b. 9 Mar 1878, Anna Margareta (Anna Swing West) b. 7 Feb 1884 and Anders Oskar b. 2 Dec 1889 & d. 6 Jul 1894 (of diphtheria). The father, Anders Andersson, emigrated to America April 1st, 1893 (he is in the 1895 Kimberly, Aitkin CO, MN census records living with his brother, Louis Swing). The three women, Margareta, Kristina and Anna, arrived at New York Oct 26 1895 on the S. S. Georgia. Their last names were spelled Sving in records. The listed destination was Duluth, MN.
