Anita "MawMaw" Moon Mason
Died peacefully In Houston Methodist hospital surrounded by her loving family on November 27, 2017 in Houston Texas at the age of 63.
Anita was born on April 17, 1954 in Dempsey County Georgia to Wendy and Josephine Moon.
She married William Allen Mason in 1971. They began their family in Houston Texas. She later moved to Shepard Texas where she loved to take care of her animals, spend time with her family especially her wonderful grandkids.
She is survived by her loving family Jose Vega of Houston Texas, Donna Mason of Baytown Texas, William & Alicia Mason of Dayton TX, James & Melanie Mason of Highlands Texas and her grandkids Jose Rodriguez III, Jasmine Rodriguez, Destiny Moore, Corbin Mason, Ciara Mason & Briana Mason. Her sisters Betty Mosley, Kathleen Edwards, Shirley Hodge, Sheila Hinson, and her brothers Jerry Moon & Wendell Moon all of Texas, Kristine Bradley of Arkansas and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Mason, Parents Wendy E. Moon & Josephine Clemons Moon, sisters Carol Regina Bryant & Doris Jean Ratliff
A funeral is scheduled for Thursday , December 7, 2017 at 11:30am in the Chapel of San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home,
Pallbearers for services will be – Pooh Bear, Billy Langley, Felix Munos Jr., Jorge Contreras, Laurent Latour & Derek Sanders.
All are welcome to attend services with Pastor Jerry Galvan of Word of Life Ministries to celebrate the life of Anita with her family.
The family would also like to thank all the caregivers and hospital staff for their support and dedication in the care of their loved one.
