Shelby Jean Amos of Warsaw, VA passed away on December 16, 2017. She was born in Dickenson County, VA; the daughter of Aubrey and Audrey (Bowman) Anderson. Shelby was a retired self-employed caregiver, and widow of Guy Allen Amos whom she married on October 17, 1957 in Dickenson, VA.

Shelby is survived by: three sons, Keith Amos (Joyce), Jonathan Amos (Billie Jo), and James Amos (Cheryl); daughter, Deborah A. Bambarger (Larry); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Morgan and Ricky Anderson; and four sisters, Betty A, Baumgardener, Gail A. Barton, Brenda A. Powers, and Rebecca A. Arrington.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Gibeon Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Northern Neck Memorial Gardens, Callao. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, December 19, 2017, at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
