Mr. Daniel Scruggs, 71, of Cooley Springs School Road, died on December 15, 2017 at his residence.
He is the husband Mary Ann Jolley Scruggs of the residence and the son of the late Daniel W, Scruggs ad Ruby D. Scruggs. He was a former employee of Milliken and was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. He was U. S. Army Veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jonas Scruggs (Amanda) of Chesnee and a daughter Andi Scruggs Martin (Neil) of Chesnee and by one sister Liz Petty of Landrum. He is also survived by grandchildren, Makayla and Bryson Scruggs, Chelsea, Andrew and Abbie Martin and by two great grandchildren Tanner and Isabell Strickland.
A Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Monday December 18, 2017 at Sandy Springs Baptist Church, officiated by Phil Bailey. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
The family will be at the residence.
