RICHARD A. ACTON

Richard Andrew Acton, 82, of 915 E. Morton St., died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Prince George County, Md., and had lived in Tacoma since 1949.

In 1946 he retired as a bus driver for the Tacoma Transit Co., after 37 years' service. He was a member of the Teamsters Union; State Lodge No. 68, F&AM; Tacoma Scottish Rite bodies; and Afiffi Temple of the Shrine.

He is survived by a daughter, Miss Nona V. Acton, of Eureka, Calif.; a stepson, W. D. Shine, of Seattle; and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Tidwell, of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. T. A. Montgomery, of Washington, D.C.

Services will be announced by the Buckley-King Co.
