Chester (Scooter) Moore, 59, passed away at 3:20am on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne after a battle with cancer.
He was born on October 22, 1958 in LaGrange, Indiana to Chester and Rose (Brown) Moore. He was raised by Luvica (Combs) and Chester Moore in Ligonier, Indiana. They preceded him in death, along with one sister, Becky Neddham. He was previously employed at Asplundh, as well as Harvey Hinklemeyers and Townsend Tree Service.
Scooter married his best friend, Diana Sutton, on July 23, 1995. She survives. Also surviving are one sister, Sharon Bennett; and three brothers: Farris Moore, Billy Joe Moore, and James Combs. Also, one daughter, Angela Sutton, and three grandchildren: Suzie, Danie, and Fellica; two great-grandchildren: JJ and Katie. Also, lots of extended family, a special friend Ervin Bastin, little bro Isaiah Sutton, and dog Buddy Wayne.
Visitation will be held from 11a 2pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
