Funeral services for Bass Scott, age, 56 who died at his home in the Dismal Community late Thursday afternoon, December 19, after an illness of several months, were conducted Friday afternoon at o'clock at the Fullers's Chapel Methodist Church, in which he was a member.
The Rev. P. M. Clayton officiated.
Burial was at the Fuller's Chapel Cemetery.
Born in DeKalb County, TN. he was the son of the late Ran Scott and Jane McMillen Scott.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Driver Scott; sisters, Mrs. Jennie Hale, of Dismal, Mrs Mary Neal Hayes, of Cookeville, TN; Mrs. Sallie Chapman, of Cottage Home,; brothers, Jess Scott, of Dismal, Lige Scott, Smithville and Charlie Scott, of Helton.
Evans Funeral Home was in charge.
