Anne E. Deskiewicz, age 78, of Jeffersonville, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center. Anne was born in Norristown and was the daughter of the late Michael J. Valyo and the late Julia Wayock Valyo. She was the loving mother of Robert Deskiewicz of Jeffersonville. Anne was preceded in death by her 4 siblings, James Valyo, Robert M. Valyo and his wife Vera, Mary Jane Paul and her husband Robert and Eleanor Cabe and her husband Marshall. In addition to her son, Anne is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Ann Valyo, her dear friend since grade school, Elaine Fertal and many nieces nephews and cousins. Anne was a graduate of Upper Merion High School and went on to become a dental receptionist for Dr. Robert Ritrovato. She worked for him and his father for over 30 years at their practice in Bridgeport. Anne was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church and was active in their church functions. She enjoyed shopping with her friends and going to the Padre Pio group in Norristown every month. At home, she was known for feeding the animals in her yard, working in her garden and decorating the house for each season. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 19, 10 a.m., at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 So. Trooper Rd, Norristown, PA, 19403, where her viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Arrangements are by The Bernard S.
