Ronald G. Holcomb, 75, died Thursday, December 27, 2007. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Hamlin officiating. A lifelong resident of Peach County, Mr. Holcomb was the former owner and operator of Holcomb Tire Company, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Fort Valley Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law...and their daughter...of Plano, Texas; his brother, ....of Byron. Preceded in death by his wife, Jane W. Holcomb....Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley has charge of arrangements.
