Tammy D’Ann (Shaw) House of Melissa, Texas passed away on December 14, 2017 at the age of 48. She was born on November 14, 1969 to Silas Wayne and Linda Louise (Green) Shaw in Atlanta, Texas. Tammy had lived in the Anna/Melissa area since 2005. After spending 20 years in the wireless communication business, she opened an independent insurance agency in Anna in 2007. Tammy was the Chairman of The Chamber of Commerce of Anna, Texas for many years where she enjoyed participating on a number of other community development boards. She always enjoyed traveling, puzzles, playing games and spending time with her family and friends.

Tammy is survived by her daughters, Ashlee Vickery of Melissa and Sydney House of Anna; grandson, Carson McCollum also of Melissa; mother, Linda Louise Lewellen and husband, Randy of White Oak, Texas; brother, D’Wayne Shaw and wife, Dee of Tatum, Texas; step-brothers, Eric Stewart of Hallsville, Texas, Cory Howell of Daingerfield, Texas and Casey Howell of Marshall, Texas; companion, Jefferson Scott; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Silas Wayne Shaw.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, December 18, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Melissa Cemetery, Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
