Eva Mae Hounshell Robinson, 100, of Junction City, passed away Thursday in Danville. She was born July 10, 1917 in Paint Lick, Kentucky to the late James and Nancy Hounshell. Eva Mae was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Robinson.Eva Mae worked for Palm Beach for over 29 years and was a faithful member of the Junction City Methodist Church, where she was proudly the oldest member. She taught Sunday School for 40 years. Surviving are a granddaughter, Jennifer Abrams (Mike) of Junction City; a grandson, Steven Robinson of Miami, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Jessica Gordon Brewer (Greg) and Landon Abrams; three great great grandchildren, Ellyssa, Chase, and Emily Gordon, and a host of nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her son and daughter in law, Ballard Lee and Dorothy Robinson.Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, December 18, 2017 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Kyle Long officiating. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation from 11AM-1PM Monday.Pallbearers are David Logue, David Anderson, Greg Brewer, Donnie Kidwell, Eddie Moore, and Eddie Tamme.Memorial contributions are preferred to her church she dearly loved, Junction City Methodist Church.
