Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with the Rev. Kihwan Choi, of Marseilles United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Ray was born March 11, 1927, in Turtle Creek, Pa., to Clifford and Love (Long) Page. In 1949, he married Joan Ingmanson, of Marseilles, who preceded him in death in 2014.
Ray was a member of Marseilles United Methodist Church. He served in the Navy as a signal man during WWII in the Aleutian Islands.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 235 and the VFW Post 5506. He was employed by J & L Steel in Hennepin until his retirement and then was a driver for Terry Bentz Buick in Marseilles for more than 20 years.
He served on the Marseilles Area Ambulance Board and was a proud member of the NRA.
Ray is survived by three daughters, Ronda Olson, Janet (David) Raikes and Nancy Frackowiak, all of Marseilles; one son, John Page, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Tracy, Mike, Lauren, Andy and Ashley; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Silver, of Naperville; and one brother, Don Page, of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a brother, Bobby; and a granddaughter, Hope Olson.
Memorials may be given to the Marseilles Nursing Service or the Marseilles Area Ambulance Service.
