Mr. Charles “Charlie” Isbell passed away peacefully on December 13, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital surrounded by three generations of family, including his loving daughters, Charolette Murdaugh (Jim) and Susan Price (Tommy); grandchildren, Kristen Suhrie (Brant), Kyle Harris (Candace), Marc Murdaugh (Joy), Anna Brown (James) and Megan Carroll (Scott); thirteen great-grandchildren. Charlie dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior, his love to his Family and Friends, and his service to Coca Cola and the congregation of Parkview Baptist Church. His 85 years of life resulted in 2 daughters, five grandkids, and 13 great-grandkids. Those 85 years also saw countless bottles of Coke sold (and drank), countless miles of road driven in big rigs, countless miles of water skiing and countless fellowships with friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. His surviving friends and family rejoice in his life and impression on the world, and relish the countless memories of a man of purpose, love and grace. Come rejoice in a life well lived and share in memories big and small at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.
