Entered into rest at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa, on Wednesday December 13th, 2017. Glen Philip Johnston age 83 years of Carleton Place. Beloved husband of Doris Johnston (nee Leonard). Dear father of Desiree Johnston and her partner Dean Skov. Loving grandfather of April Flegg (Allan Beals) and special great-grandfather of Sawyer Beals. Brother of Gertrude Morrison, Gilbert Johnston and Garfield Johnston (Belva). Also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Doris Johnston and Shirley Johnston. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Guy, Grant, Garnet Johnston, Greta Crummy and Grace Woodcock. Glen will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Claude Johnston and the former Geraldine Phillips. Relatives and friends are invited to a Grave-Side Service at Plum Hollow Cemetery, on Saturday December 16th, at 11 a.m. In memoriams to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
