Mrs. Alice B. Bivins, 90, a resident of Medford Rd., died Friday afternoon at Durham Regional Hospital. Mrs. Bivins was a lifelong resident of Durham.
She was the daughter of the late Lelia James Browning and the late William Sidney Browning. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Woodrow Wilson Bivins; a granddaughter, Tammy L. Coleman; and eight brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Bivins was retired from Burlington Industries. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church for almost 80 years and at the time of her death was the oldest living member.
