Barbara Louise Bell Bull, age 86, of Brady, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in the Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood, Texas.

Barbara was born December 27, 1930 in Brady to Lewis H. Bell and Ruth K. (McShan) Bell.

She graduated from Brady High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from North Texas State College in 1952.

Barbara married Kenneth Winson Bull on June 28, 1952 in the Christian Church in Brady.

Barbara and Ken spent 21 years in the Air Force. Their life in the Air Force started in Anchorage, Alaska. While in Alaska, Barbara worked for the Army Engineers assembling mapping data. During the Air Force career, they lived in seven states as they were required to move often.

After the career in the Air Force, Barbara moved her family back to Texas and settled on the ranch she inherited from the Bell Family. She and Ken built a home on the ranch and spent many years enjoying ranching and all the animals.

They were members of the First United Methodist Church in Brady.

Funeral services for Barbara Louise Bull will be held at 10:00am Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Reverend Phil Steinbach officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:00amm to 10:00am (prior to the services) at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.

Pallbearers will be Justin Bull, Michael Bull, Blake Henderson, Kamron McGehee, Stephen Marshall and Joey Ranne.

Barbara Louise Bell Bull is survived by her loving husband of over 65 years, Ken Bull, Sr. of Brady, Texas; son Kenneth Bull, Jr. and wife Robin of Boerne, Texas and daughter Karen Young and husband Bruce of Amarillo, Texas; sister Sylvia Marshall of Richmond, Texas; grandchildren Justin Bull, Michael Bull, Donna Henderson and Dianna McGehee; great-grandchildren Everett McGehee, Allie McGehee, Audrey Henderson, Ryan Bear Henderson and Kinsler Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
