Sybil Williams, 85, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Sybil was born in Jackson Co., AL to the late Will and Lissie Evans. She was an avid farmer on the family farm and loved taking care of all her animals. She worked at Dupont where she met the late John Williams; they were married for 43 years. She attended Christ Way Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Williams Moody, John T (Kelly) Williams II, Pam Bookout, sister, Billie Jean Evans, grandchildren, Zach (Sarah) Moody, Jessica Bookout, John T. Williams III, Erin Bookout, Drew (Maria) Williams, Summer Williams, and great grandchildren, Zander and Olivia Moody.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, December 19 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

A special thank you to Kathy Barfield and the staff at Life Care Center of Ooltewah for their loving care and companionship.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 19 from 11-1:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Rd.
