Mrs. Edna Butler, 86, born February 9, 1931, passed away Wednesday night, December 6, 2017, in Port Saint Joe. Raised in Sylacauga, Alabama, she moved to St. Joe Beach on her birthday in 1963. She was a Christian and talked often about how she knew she was going to Heaven.
Survivors include her sons, Don Butler and wife Brenda, Walt Butler, Dit Butler and wife Debbie, Ray Butler and wife Kathy, and Keith Butler and wife Tammie; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her sister, Lizzie Baker and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. EST on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Holly Hill Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Eddie LaFountain. Interment followed. Visitation began at 1:30 p.m.
Services under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home.
