Mick (aka "Papa" and "Bear") was the son of Russell Tracy and Helen Fae Williamson McFarland. He was a loving family man who worked hard to provide his children with opportunities and adventure. He enjoyed camping and fishing with family, frequenting the Uintahs, Big Creek, and the river bottoms of Liberty, Utah. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather.

At the time of his passing, Mick was survived by his wife, Susan, two daughters and sons-in-law, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren (with one on the way). He was also survived by two sisters, many nieces and nephews, and his special little buddies, Colton, Crew, Kenny, and Reed. He was preceded in death by his son, Brody, his parents, his brothers, and his best friends Ken, Jim, and John.
