Born Jan 2, 1941, he went home to God on Dec 10, 2017.

He is survived by his three daughters, Gina, Anita and Shanna; his son, Ronald Jr.; his two sisters, Diane and Jeanette; his brother, Billy; his wife, Patricia; his sons-in-law, Wes and Marty, and daughter-in-law ,Shiela; his grandchildren; present and future great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Metcha.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanie; his twin brother, Donald; and his brother, Bob.

Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a hard-working mountain of a man. Papa Bear was a selfless family man and his heart was filled with kindness.

He loved to fish! Remember, Papa, it's catching in Heaven, not fishing, and it's always all-you-can stand. He was our father, brother, grandpa, great-grandpa, hero and friend. Our lives are all better for having known him.
