Jason Wayne Hines,15, Muscoda. died on Saturday. Feb. 7. 1998. He was born March 19, 1982, in Viroqua. the son of Patrick and Ellen (Miller) Hines. Jason was a freshman at Riverdale High School. He loved to spend time with his friends, listen to rap music, and rollerblade. He loved to ride his motorcycle, to watch motocross. racing, music videos, and Beavis and Butthead. He was active in cross country and wrestling during junior high. His freshman year was trying to fit in and to be cool. He loved his blonde hair and baggy clothes. He loved to draw and sketch where he could draw anything. He loved to build models and then he would modify them. He knew about gun safety but a one second mistake in judgement cost him his life. He is survived. by his parents, Patrick and Ellen. Muscoda; a sister. Denise Hines; a brother, Justin; maternal grandparents. Bill and Caryl Miller, Muscoda; -many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Theodore Sr. and Mary Hines, Blue River; maternal grandmother, Ruth Miller, Muscoda; and great-grandmother. Garnet Starkey. Richland Center. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Godager Funeral Home. Muscoda with Rev. Bruce A. Jones officiating and burial in the Muscoda Cemetery
