Alford was born in Tulare, California on July 19, 1951 to loving parents, Albert Overacker and Hazel Shirley Rossiter Overacker. He was raised and educated in Tulare.
He began his 47 year career as a truckdriver as a young man, driving in California and across the United States. His wife Joyce traveled and drove with him for many years.
Alford leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Joyce Faye Bonds Overacker of Tulare; his children, Angela of Visalia, Alford of Selma and Toni of Selma and his very special grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Firstborn on Gail Street in Tulare.
