Craig A. "Chip" Brown, Jr of Houcktown passed away in a house fire in Houcktown on December 10, 2017 along with his partner Katherine Anne "Katie" Bernot and her beloved dog, Serena. He was born on December 26, 1992 in Findlay to Craig A. Brown, Sr. and Elizabeth Wilkins. He is survived by his father, Craig A. Brown, Sr., mother Elizabeth Wilkins both of Houcktown, two brothers: Eric (Jenna) Wilkins of Rawson, Elijah (Kassandra Girdler) Wilkins of Mt. Blanchard, two sisters: Emily (Devin) Lucius and Nicole Brown both of Findlay. Chip is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Sandra Wilkins of rural Houcktown, maternal grandfather, Leo Garey of Findlay and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Charles Brown, maternal grandfather, Don Wilkins and maternal grandmother Mary Garey. Chip attended Riverdale Elementary and Cory-Rawson High School. He was a member of Rawson New Hope United Methodist Church. Chip was currently working construction and helping on a farm. He also worked part-time at Toyko Steak House and delivered pizza for Padrone's Pizza. He loved mud bogging, working with horses and was a backyard mechanic. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church where a memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Delaware Township Volunteer Fire Department of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department.
