Charles Fred Maloy was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 7, 2017. Beloved husband of Sandy McMillan Maloy; dear brother of Len (Bonnie) Maloy and Pat (Neil) Jennings; loving father of Frank (Jeanne) Maloy, Jeff Maloy, Robyn Maloy (Kevin) Presley, Lesley (Douglas) Graham, Brett (Susie) McMillan, Linsey (Scott) Highmark; adoring grandfather of Brian (Clara) Maloy, Carrie Maloy (Ben) Wahlman, Brad Maloy, Alex Maloy, Kirk Presley, Andrew, George and Mac Graham, Sandy, Katie, and William McMillan, Taylor, Brooke and Lane Highmark; preceeded in death by his parents Cecil and Leona (Schulenburg) Maloy, his wife Marlene Maloy and his precious grandaughter Faye Maloy.

Fred was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1934 and was a life-long resident. He graduated from Cleveland High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He loved working as a State Farm agent for 50 years. Throughout his life, Fred served in multiple leadership roles at Concord Baptist Church. He was a member of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church where he faithfully served as an usher and cheerful greeter. He was active in his community as a leading member of Lion’s Club and Gideons. He supported many other organizations. His favorite pastime was participating in his grandchildren's lives. His interests included attending Cardinal baseball games, enjoying the St. Louis Symphony, The Fox Theater, The Muny, Stages, and traveling around the world.

Services: Visitation will be December 15, 2017 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Bopp Chapel 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122; an additional visitation will be held on December 16, 2017 from 9:30am-10:30am prior to the

The Service of Worship and Remembrance which begins at 11:00am at the Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church 1230 Big Bend Road, Ballwin, MO 63021.

A private interment at Sunset Memorial Park will immediately follow the service. Flowers are sincerely appreciated by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
