Teresa Lynn “Teedy” Yates of Fisher, West Virginia, formerly of Cobb Island, Maryland, died on Friday, September 16, 2016 from an automobile accident in West Virginia. She was 47 years old.

Born on June 25, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Mary Jane Farrell and the late John Frank Yates Sr.

She was raised in Cobb Island and then later moved to West Virginia to live and work on a farm. She loved the farm life and as well as being on the water. Teedy was an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her children Ashley Dent and Collin Yates; her step-father Jimmy Farrell; her sisters Lori Hudson, Marty Young and Linda Yates; her brother Johnny Yates; her four grandchildren; her long-time friend John Hemlick; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, Maryland 20646.

Interment will be private.
