PARKER, Jessie Alfea - Age 85, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Reverend Barbara Benjamin officiating. Burial in Byron Cemetery, Byron. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Grace Hospice, 4444 W. Bristol Road, Flint, MI 48507 or Byron United Methodist Church 101 S. Ann St. Byron, MI 48418.
Jessie was born August 19, 1932 in Valley Creek, TN, the daughter of Ray and Lillie (Cupp) Johnson. She married Donald Leon Parker March 24, 1952 and he preceded her in death September 24, 2013. She was a former member of The House of Prayer Church in Howell.
Surviving are: her children, Ronald and Michael (Tara); and Debbie; 5 grandchildren, Chrissy (Dave), Michal (Kris), Melinda (Gabe), Ashlin (Matt) and Louis; 5 great grandchildren, Jacy, Colten, Mya, Christian, and Zach; sisters, Dorothy and Christine; sister-in-law, Etta; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Johnson; and sisters, Darlene and Jearline.
