Molly Janiece Mayfield was born March 8, 1944, in Overton, TX to parents, John D. Mayfield and Lois McClure Mayfield. She was raised in Wills Point where she graduated high school and was a life-long resident. Molly married Donald Sanders in Wills Point on November 17, 1977. She was an information specialist for the Internal Revenue Service, worked as the city secretary for the city of Wills Point and worked as the bookkeeper for Mayfield Concrete for 22 years before retiring. Molly was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeff Conn.

Molly is survived by her husband, Don Sanders, of Wills Point; son, Heath Conn and wife, Debbie, of Bothell, WA; daughter, Tracy Lowe and husband, Bruce, of Wills Point and grandson, Eric Conn; brother, Bobby Mayfield and wife, LaJuan of Wills Point; sisters, Carolyn Hooks and husband, James of Edgewood, and Sue Harrelson of Tyler.

Funeral services for Molly Janiece Sanders, 73, of Wills Point, were scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 14, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Wills Point, with Pastor Don Myers officiating. Services are under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home.
