Dory was a graduate of the 1942 class of Mount Vernon High School and continued her education at the Mount Vernon Business School. She was a member of Knox Chapter #236 Order of Eastern Star and the Howard United Methodist Church. Dory was the first female real estate agent in Knox County in the 1960s and was a Million Dollar Producer. Dory and her husband also owned and operated a hardware and grocery store in Howard.
She is survived by her son-in-law John Blubaugh and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dory was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eberhardt; a son, Dennis Eberhardt; a daughter, Rebecca Blubaugh; a brother, Robert S. Blubaugh and her sister Charlotte Ferris.
Friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Entombment will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
