Mrs. Barbara Ann Smith Herndon passed away at her home on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her husband, H. D. Herndon, parents, Frank Graham Smith and Lillie Lucinda Pryor Smith, sisters, Doris Berry, Darlene Wentworth and brother, Frank Smith.
Mrs. Herndon was a talented local artist. Her porcelain pieces can be found in local stores throughout the Gulf Coast. She was featured in the Victoria Magazine. Her greatest joy was time spent with her loving children and grandchildren. She was a member of Covenant Church of Mobile.
Mrs. Herndon is survived by her children; Susanne Simpson (Stephen), Jeff Herndon (Karen) and Kim Herndon (Anna). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Elizabeth Herndon, Susanne Leonard, Kimberly Wiley, Jansen, Jordan, Katy, Christian, Spencer Herndon and Victoria Simpson, and great-grandchildren, Kayla and John Riley Leonard.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Chapel services will be held at 12:00 p.m.in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
