Billy L. Quarles, 89, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014. He was in the United States Navy during World War II, a member of the United Methodist Church in Alpine, Texas, the Past Master of the Alpine Masonic Lodge and the Past High Priest of York Rite in Alpine. He retired from the Dallas Fire Department in 1977 after 26 years of service. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Vera Quarles and Peggy Wagner Quarles.
There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 at the Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel in Garland and a 10 a.m. graveside service at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.
