Eugene L. "Satch" Sanders, Age 60, entered into rest Friday December 8, 2017 at York Hospital, York, PA; He was the husband of Robin D. Sanders for 27 years.
A celebration of life visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St.
Mr. Sanders was born February 13, 1957 in York, a son of the late Eugene L., Sr., and Betty (Abel) Sanders. He was a 1975 graduate of York Vo-Tech School where he had been active on a number of school sports teams. He was retired from York Wallcoverings and was employed as a Corrections Officer with York County Prison. He enjoyed Sprint Car races and was a Penn State Football fan. He was a member of the 12th and 13th Ward Social Clubs, the Girard AA, and the Rooster Club.
Eugene is survived by his wife; children, Jordan Neiman, David Eaton, Denise Ortman, and Danielle Sanders; seven grandchildren Madisen, Darian, Landon, Halle, Morgan, Gavin and Beckham; brother and sisters, Brenda Baker and husband, Keith, Patricia Doll and husband, Mark, Ronald Sanders and wife, Michelle; and nieces; and nephews.
