WALTERS – Carl D., 78, Portage, died March 30, 2012, at Altoona Regional Hospital. Born March 6, 1934, in Johnstown, son of Willis C. and Edna Gertrude (Courter) Walters. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Jacquewene Thomas; and sister, Shirley Buckingham. Survived by daughter, Lisa, wife of Barry Batdorf, Portage; and grandchildren, Nichole, Portage; Tiffany, wife of Shane Johnson, Coatesville; and Brody, Portage. Also surviving is a sister, Reda Rader, New Jersey. Friends received from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon Thursday at Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage, the Rev. Earl Butterfield, officiating. Interment, Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
