Roy Deane Barnes, 65, of Fleming, OH, passed away December 11, 2017, at his residence.
He was born October 14, 1952, in Marietta, a son of Roy Edwin and Eleanora Lucinda Perry Barnes.
He was a U.S. Army and Army Reserve veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post 750 in Lowell, OH. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. He loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl Darlene Lane Barnes; son Deane E. Barnes of Clarington, OH; daughters Darlene K. Enoch (Richard) of Leroy, WV and Misty D. Milligan of Byesville, OH; grandchildren Sierra, Alex, Jordan, Destiny and John; sisters Delores Scott of Jacksonville, FL and Margaret Williams of Marietta; brothers Jim Barnes (Deana) of Vale NC and Clifford Barnes (Lori) of Marietta.
Services will be 11 am Thursday, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre. Interment will follow at Tunnel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
