Anne Nelson, 77, Walcott, ND died on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 in her home.
Anne Ingeborg Bjore was born June 12, 1940 in Powers Lake, ND to Olaves and Ella (Peterson) Bjore. She attended Loberg Country School for three years before graduating from West Fargo High School in 1958.
She was married to Neil Nelson on June 7, 1958 in Horace, ND. They moved to rural Davenport, ND where they spent the next six years starting their family. In 1964, they moved to West Fargo and spent the next 40 years on the farm raising the kids and watching their grandchildren grow. In 2005, they moved to Walcott, ND.
Anne enjoyed cooking, canning and mowing the lawn. She loved hosting the holidays for the entire family. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a charter member in the 5 G’s Homemakers Club for 59 years.

She is survived by her husband, Neil of 59 years; three children, Brian (Jackie) Nelson, Colorado, Mike (Lisa) Nelson, Casselton, ND and Lori (Ruben) Noriega, Walcott; grandchildren, Andrea (Jeff) Fuchs, Shad Korbel, Jena (Chris) Korbel, Kaila (Dustin) Nelson, Tyson Nelson, Joslin (Erick) Brager; great grandchildren, Jaxon Nelson, Bailey Fuchs and Brody Fuchs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott; brother Orton and sister, Almyra.
