Wanda Farmer, age 89 of Albany, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Albany Cemetery with Pastor Charles Goodnight officiating. Interment will follow in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Wanda Mae Godwin was born September 15, 1928 in Burkett, Texas to her parents, W. C. Godwin and Ida May Watson Godwin. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Albany. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Farmer, Jr.; her parents, W.C. and Ida May Godwin and one sister, Pamela Sherley.

Mrs. Farmer is survived by her two sons, Robert C. Farmer and Jimmy G. Farmer and wife Paulette; three grandsons, Garet Farmer and wife Molly, John Farmer and wife Angela, Jeff Farmer and wife Tammy; special nieces, Kathy LeFevre, Carolyn Golson, Dani Golson; numerous great grandchildren and many cousins.

Special thanks to her hospice nurses, Shanna and Amanda. Special thanks also to caregivers Kay Box, Doris
Lowe, and Desnarae Lunger.
