Came to Canada in April of 1910. Purchased a homestead about 7 miles southwest of Compeer. A brother? named Henry Cameron, known as Harry was born in Scotland about 1880 and came to the US in 1902. He was a blacksmith there. He later came to the Compeer area when Donald had his homestead. He farmed until 1922, when he decided to return to Ames, Iowa. He continued blacksmithing and then went to Scotland for a holiday. After three weeks there, he passed away and was buried there.
