The Celebration of Life will be 2:30pm Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Church of God by Faith, 700 Palmetto Street, Welaka, FL. Rev. Michael Scott, Pastor. Minister Cedric Milton, Officiating. Interment will follow the service at Welaka Cemetery. The Visitation will be from 1pm until the hour of service at the church.
On Thursday, October 15, 1987, in Gainesville, Florida, a little girl was born, and Arlene Gordon and Earnest Mannuel named that bundle of joy, Christina De’Shawn Gordon.
Christina, was reared in Welaka, Fl. and was educated in the public schools of Putnam County. She was fun loving, and never met a stranger.
Christina, “Chris”, enjoyed living life. She would give you the shirt off of her back. She loved her family, and enjoyed her friends, but she absolutely adored her nieces, nephews and one she cared for as her own, Zamarion Banks.
During the early morning hours Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Shands Hospital UF in Gainesville, FL. Christina answered the Master’s call, and entered eternal rest reuniting with her father, Earnest Mannuel, and grandparents, Julia Gordon-
Chance and Ozell Chance.
Her loving memories will remain in the hearts of those she left behind, including her mother, Arlene Gordon-Dildy (Charles); siblings, Antwan Gordon, Deondra Milledge, LaTalya (Toshman) Stevens, Pearly Wilson and Kevin Wilson; her precious
nieces and nephews, Ashira, Selena, LaNiya, Ja’Miya, Ervin, Jr. Christa, Marcellus, Tevin, Toshmon, II, Tristan, Ja’Niya and Juliana; a forever best friend, Erica Milledge; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
