Dan French of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, following emergency surgery.
Dan was born April 2, 1941, in Beatrice, Nebr., to Mel and Sally Doebele French.
Following his graduation from Hanover High School in 1959, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served for 20 years which included the Viet Nam War.
Dan was retired from the Marriott Hotel Corporation and is survived by his wife, Maria, stepson Carl and his family, brother Rod French and wife Thilerna, sister Sheila Heble and husband, Me, sister Mary Ellen Odell and husband Bruce, sister Pamela Adamson and husband, Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mel and Sally French, two brothers, Robert Orin French and David Orin French, his sister Barb Inman, brother-in-law Lester (Bud) Iman, and nephews David Lee Iman and David Orin French.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
