Harry Martin Lattin was born in Valley Township, Kingman County, Kansas. [He] lived the life of a farmer boy and attended the district school in Valley Township until the age of twelve years when he moved to Harper, Harper County, Kansas and continued his education there until 1908 when he moved to Pomona, California. [He] graduated from Pomona High School. Immediately after finishing his high school course he was employed by the First National Bank of Pomona and continued in their employ until entering the United States Government service on July 29, 1918. He died at Letterman Hospital, Presido, California on January 12, 1919.
