Frances Taylor Broderick, age 91, widow of Robert Lee Broderick, died Monday, October 6, 2008, at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home, in Carlisle, Kentucky. She was born August 26, 1917, in Nicholas County, Kentucky, to the late Charles M. and Edith McDonald Taylor. She was a member of the Barterville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two grandchildren, Sherri Corley, of Graniteville, South Carolina, and Norman Broderick, of Lexington, Kentucky; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Corley; a daughter-in-law, Betty Bernardi, and her husband, Ray Bernardi, of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Norman Broderick.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Troy Miller, Rev. Don Riggs and Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Barterville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
