She was the wife of Franklin W. Maxwell; they were married 61 years.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Vincent F. and Margaret M. (Hemming) Wilczynski.
Dorothy enjoyed playing rummy and chicken foot, but most importantly she loved her family. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Nancy Dierolf, fiancee of Harvey Bitler, and Bradley, husband of Patricia Maxwell. There are five grandchildren: Rebecca, wife of Matt Eshenaur; David, husband of Marci Dierolf; Amanda Maxwell; Brandon Maxwell; and Mason Maxwell; and two great-grandchildren: Codey Eshenaur, and Josslyn Dierolf. Five siblings: Margaret, wife of Gary Long; Linda, wife of Clyde Kramer; Jacqueline, wife of Allen Kohl; and Vincent, husband of Kathy Wilczynski also survive her.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
