VILLA GROVE – Diana "Dicy" Lynn Marsh, 68, went to be with the Lord, Dec. 4, 2017, at IU North, Carmel, Ind. She was the loving wife of John Ray Marsh. She passed on their 41st wedding anniversary.

Born in Champaign, she was the daughter of Charles Ervin Mason and Barbara Lou Smith. Dicy was a stay-at-home mom with a daycare. After the children were raised, she worked in the deli and as a cashier at Rick's Country Market, Villa Grove.

She was known and loved by everyone in the community.

She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Christy (Terry) Hatcher; grandson, Cody Hatcher, his fiancée Jennifer Lewis; sons, Chad Schwanderman, Shawn (Jill) Hildreth; grandchildren, Brittaney Bickers, Taylor Bickers, Logan Bushman, Kyndra Hildreth and Bentley Hildreth; two sisters, Tena Shofner and Tonja Konkel; one brother, Roger Fontana; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and mother.

There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in the Joines Funeral Home, Illinois 130 South, Villa Grove, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. in the Centennial Cemetery, Villa Grove, with the Rev. Mike Zylstra officiating.
