Gertrude F. Redding, age 91, passed away on Saturday peacefully at The Cottages at Garden Grove. She was born June 24, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, the eldest daughter of Charles and Irene Flohr. She resided most of her life in Huntington Station, NY and moved to the Liverpool area in 2006. She was employed by AT&T in the 1940's and 1950's before becoming a mother and homemaker. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, knitting and needlepoint work.
Gertrude is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Daniel and an older brother, Joseph. She is survived by her two daughters, Carlene (Anthony) Lauria of Liverpool and Pamela (Fred) Evola of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Megan (Jeffrey) Hiltbrand of Syracuse and Nicholas Evola of North Carolina; a sister, Marion and two nieces.
